Fresh fish is a must at a Japanese restaurant and, usually, the more expensive the restaurant the fresher the fish. Sakura is not expensive, but not cheap either. But the fish is not fresh--tasteless and not far from getting mushy. Surprising for a restaurant in a maritime village.

Yummy Japanese

Nice place to eat. Menu offers a variety of choices and the food was great. The service was good and the atmosphere was nicely Asian. Would go back to eat there.

Went here for our anniversary because we love sushi and this was our 3rd time back.We grabbed a bottle of wine from the liquor store close by,and they waitress but it on ice for us which was nice.We ordered seven different rolls,the spider roll is my favorite and everything was delicious and fresh,staff is also very pleasant.Going back this weekend...

Excellent sushi, hibachi and so much more in Greenport

This was my fifth time eating here. It is clean, beautiful and very reasonable for Greenport. The decor is upscale. The best part is the food. The menu is varied and has something for everyone...even if you don't do sushi, you will find the perfect meal. The service is friendly and quick. This is a welcome addition to the Village....
