My fiance and I stayed at the Victorian House a few weeks ago during the start of ""Carnival"" and we loved the house! It's a beautiful, antique furnished home away from home. The courtyard area was beautiful and relaxing. Having access to the kitchen was great as well. Its also only a few blocks from Bourbon Street so most things are in walking distance. Also, only a couple of blocks from the oldest cemetery in New Orleans where Voodoo Queen Marie LaVeaux is reputedly buried. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you're stay is the best it can be. I will certainly stay there...

Benjamin was very cheerful to move us to a nicer room after a plumbing malfunction on our first day. It was part of the charm of staying in an old Victorian house :)
The location is ideal, a few blocks away from the madness of Bourbon St but located conveniently to everything.
