Help us make it rightLocated next door to the beautiful 5th Avenue Theatre in the 1926 Skinner Building, this stylish bar is my favorite downtown drinking establishment. Not only does it serve classy cocktails that come with long histories, but the bar food is excellent. Oh, and don't be dissuaded if the place looks full; there's a second floor.
Vessel is for those who love a good drink, not those who love to drink - the austere decor lends the place a steely presence, more appropriate for a hip date than a drunken girl's night out. But for those who worship a well-mixed cocktail, Vessel is a godsend. With five different kinds of ice, seasonal fruits, custom foams and subtle tinctures, you're bound to find a new taste experience....
Enjoyed multiple expertly made cocktails by very talented mixologists. We chose a few off of the cocktail menu, then left the bartenders to their own devices to craft a few for us on their own. The results were amazing!! Everything was so delicious with fresh, inventive ingredients. The scotch list was also extensive which my husband appreciated. Highly highly recommend...
Very nice environment, but if you are used to the fast pace of the East coast, the service may be a bit slow, as it caters to the West coast laid back ambiance, which is nice for vacationers who want to slow down.
Vessel was our go to spot every night after dinner while we were in Seattle for business. The place had a great ambience and not to forget the spirits. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Seattle.
Going to a movie at PacPlace? Go to Vessel. Seeing a show at the Paramount or 5th Ave. theatre? Go to Vessel. Have you been to the Market and need to rest your feet? Go to Vessel. This lovely little place has a revolving menu of cocktails (each bartender creates their own) and delightful eats in a beautifully soft-lit space...
The rudest bartender on the face of the earth! Went on Sat with 8 adults, all coming from a party at RN74. These are school board members, executives, etc. We were not allowed to move the unoccupied bar stools two feet from the bar at the high tables which were unoccupied (stools are for the bar ONLY cuz gad...it was...

Housed in the old Skinner Building, this lounge features killer drinks and an alluring design. Impressed patrons sip retro cocktails and nibble on sweet corn fritters and ahi tuna tartare. If it's your first visit, be sure to wander up the yellow glass staircase to admire the vintage geometric carvings adorning the ceiling.
