living in NJ, my husband and I took a couple from out of town to Veranda for brunch.
it had nice ambience however the food were disappointing. My husband had 3 pancakes
that tasted like it came out of a box - heavy and tasteless....

Outdoor garden is the way to go

Came here for lunch with my son's family, including a 19-month-old, and the weather was uncommonly warm, so eating outside was a treat. My grandson didn't care for the Vanilla Challah French toast ($14), and still won't eat eat it on reheating a day later....

The brunch and lunch here is good and feels continental and relaxed. Nice choice of foods; super friendly servers. Charming decor outdoors. The dinner selections are disappointing.
