I just had a wonderful evening at the Veggie Bite location in Wicker Park. This is delicious vegan comfort food in a happy bright and colorful environment. But the best thing about this place is the staff -- such a chatty, friendly, welcoming bunch! They went far out of their way to make my dining experience spectacular.

VEGGIE BITE is the answer to my prayers. The first time I had the pleasure of tasting their food was at the Greenfest 2007 and ever since I have been a Veggie Bite lover. I am now a loyal customer and visit the Southside location at least twice a week however, with the new location opening in Wicker Park I will be there more often. Veggie Bite is the most delicious all vegan organic restaurant....

FYI, this location closed in September/October 2008. They have a new location planned in Hyde Park and the northside location is still open. The food is great; I highly recommend this all-vegan fast food restaurant.

Finally, a safe haven for Vegans! Every single item is 100 Vegan. The service is super quick and the staff is wonderful. But don't be fooled, this isn't all salads and weird concoctions that all the other places are. This is real fast food with a twist.
