Definitely a quiter area, but still a super-convienant location. Giant grocery and a handful of good restaurants around the corner. Also an easy 15 min walk to tenleytown to the north, Cleveland park to the west, and glover park to the south. Apartment itself is a good layout with plenty of space. I just moved to Vaughn Place from 14th Street. It is very nice building with an incredible staff. For once in my life the move was a piece of cake and the staff was very helpful from early delivery of furniture to set up of internet and cable.
