We stopped by for lunch mid-week and found this comfortable restaurant with a reasonably priced menu. The menu feautred burgers and conventional American food - hot turkey sandwich, prime rib au jus, liver and onions to name a few items. Outdated look

If you can get passed the old outdated look of the place, the food is mediocre at best, but the service is always top notch, they only do lunch and dinner now, but they do make a good stiff drink at the full bar!

This was a local place recommended when we stayed at the Comfort inn. Nice large bar area and old fashioned dining room area w/ a beautiful view of the valley.
Best fish fry I think I've ever had (and in WI we know our fish frys!!) - all you could eat fried cod for $9.95. Very light crispy coating.

Great view of the valley and all the way to Flagg on a clear day. Sorry they are no longer doing breakfast. Really good and very inexpensive fish fry on friday night - I had the cod nice and flaky not greasy and crunchy outside. Also fun to watch the dancing on Fridays and Saturday. their idea of "vegitarian" is a salad, or how about some pasta with some broccoli on top- HELLO? we wont go back, very disapaointed.
