"Great" free "live music" is in the air and "decent" Italian chow (pasta, pizza, etc.) on the plates at this Downtown Napa eatery with an "energetic" vibe; "friendly" servers add to the appeal, as do "reasonable" tabs aided by a BYO policy that waives the corkage on the first bottle.

Every time I walk into this place, it feels like home. It's warm, lively atmosphere and friendly staff lets you know this is more of a locals place. We started with calamari and split a salad, which were ample and delicious. There's even live music, a friendly bar with Fernet on tap (imagine that!) and loads of other goodies. Diverse wine list; they don't charge corkage for the first bottle.
Service and food was great! Very accommodating even though we had a mix-up with the reservation time (totally my fault - missed by 30 minutes) for a party of 8. Will recommend to our friends!
Loud and loud music detract from dining. Beets in the beet salad were big chunks and not particularly flavorful. Salmon pizza not so flavorful either. Garlic bread lacked subtlety.
This is my all time favorite.
First time we ever went out for Thanksgiving, and the place was busy, but service was great. Nice to have a local place that is actually affordable.
