Pathetic excuse.

Yet another case of irresponsible money management....
First off, I've been with this bank for over a decade and ALWAYS gotten my statements. But, on the off chance it was lost in the mail or whatever, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure your bills are paid. Just because you didn't get that little piece of paper in the mail doesn't mean your payment isn't due.
And please don't use the "I...

Righteous is correct

" 99.9% of them are REQUIRED to send this via either postal or electronic. Its at YOUR option. Its by no means a "Courtesy".  "

Absolutely correct.   I worded that very badly.  They are required to send a statement.  What I was getting at is that no bank ties on time payments to your receiving a statement.  If you didn't get the statement, they'll be happy to charge you a late fee and send...

If you're talking about a mailed paper statement, that's par for the course for credit card issuers.   There's no guarantee that the postal service will get it right every time.   You need to be aware of when your monthly payment is due.    This is one of the reasons I went to electronic statements.  I got bit several times when I relied on paper statements to show up in the mail and they...

Credit rights

First:They are legally to provide you with a statement each month or per the terms set forth in the card agreement. 99.9% of them are REQUIRED to send this via either postal or electronic. Its at YOUR option. Its by no means a "Courtesy". They can though charge you for paper statements...that is how they gain revenue now that the Feds regulate the credit industry guidelines.Secondly, as the...

I didn't receive a credit card statement for the previous month.  Then THIS month's statement arrives with late fees and interest.  I asked them to remove the fees.  They refused.  I canceled my account.  I think everyone else with a US Bank credit card account would be wise to do the same.  Don't let them rip you off!
