Us Bank

I had never heard of a place telling you what to do with your money.

I am an employee of us bank. the bank purchased the mortgage company I work for, a year ago. When they took over firstar in Cleveland. The first thing they did, was told us either you get an account with us, or your check will be mailed home. I had never heard of a place telling you what to do with your money.
I foolishly opened a account and also made deposits and had checks bouncing left...

This must be a wide spread problem.

My Mom has been banking with the same bank for 10 years, which after changing hands numerous times, became US Bank. She has also been charged overdrafts for checks that were written out after the deposit was made.
She finally discovered that they wouldn't make the funds available to her until the check cleared with the bank which her paycheck was made from. They wouldn't even cash her...

I deposited a payroll check at a US Bank Branch in Hilliard Ohio on Monday September 30th. It is Friday October 4th and the funds are still not available.
I went to the US Bank Branch and was told that all of the money was not yet available, and I could not access my account even though it showed a positive balance.
