My family and I brought my grandmother's clock to get repairs. The clerk told us that the price would be $350 with a $100 deposit. We came back in about two weeks to pick it up. The clerk raised the price by $45 dollars and would not give us back the clock unless we payed the total. Including tax the final price was over $420. We voiced our concerns to him and he replied, "Of course I was going to give you the lowest quote. I wanted the job." He was completely dishonest and we felt like we were held hostage. We had an expensive antique clock that was getting repaired for my grandmother's 82nd birthday. We had no way of getting it back without paying the erxtra $45 and the taxes on it. If there was an option for negative stars, I would have given it to them in a heartbeat.
