very nice and welcoming environment!!
My mother has waited on this company for almost a year to get an arm trough for a stroke affected limb. They have no problem sending bills for things they didn't do - but trying to get any service is impossible. We left REPEATED messages for them and no one called back. Her arm is getting banged up because she can't feel it and it dangles from her side. The staff at her assisted living has tried several different temporary fixes for her while she's waited for this trough. I fired them today - I've had it. Please don't do business with this company.
I got fitted for a powerchair around October 2013 and did not receive my new powerchair until July of 2014. I also had them service my old wheelchair & they sent me a bill for the work they did. My insurance covers all of the work and parts, so I was confused why I received a bill. I called up the company and explained this to them, and also informed them that they charged me for parts I never had put on my wheelchair. The next month I received another bill, this time for more money than the last bill was. They also never took off the items they never installed. It appears that I need to call up my insurance and check to see if they were charged for work never performed. When I finally did receive my powerchair, it never had the parts that they agreed to have installed on the chair. The representative blamed the mix up on the manufacturer not sending the right parts. The representative also told me he would give me a follow up call in two weeks which never happened. I have been trying to get someone to call me back for the last week. Needless to say, if I had a choice I would NEVER do business with this company again!! I just hope others with disabilities are not treated like this by United Seating Mobility or any other company.
Just escalated another complaint about poor customer service and lack of responsiveness/failure to return phone calls to a manager's manager! For the last two years I have been doing business with United Seating because they have monopoly control over the local DME-Wheelchair/parts market. Same excuse about "reorganization, merger(s), etc." I've read many complaints at employee review websites too!! Obviously they treat their employees at least as bad as their customers. This company should be broken up and put out of business. They are just getting bigger and less responsive to customer needs over time. Doing business with United Seating & Mobility in Wilsonville, OR is a horrible consumer experience!!!

Dangerous Repairs and VERY Poor service.
They came out and repaired my mothers power chair. They installed a new foot rest that was SLIPPERY. She fell off the chair multiple times. She called them on Friday and they never did return her call. On Monday, someone from mom's care center called them (United Seating) and their response was that the care giver had to install non-slip pads on the...
