After getting our new flueless gas fireplace installation approved by the city (it took a while because the old llued wood fireplace had wood trim) we found a slight gas smell when the pilot was on. The plumber who installed it could not find a leak, nor could the city gas inspector with his sniffer. The latter did tell us it seemed to smell more than others he had visited. The United guy...
