Stopped on Sunday around 1:15pm. Restaurant was busy but still had plenty of open tables. Promptly seated, received drinks and placed order. The special of the day was fried chicken so my husband ordered that and I ordered a simple hot dog. Knew we were in trouble when two different customers around us starting complaining about not receiving their food....

Beautifully prepared deep fried " El Gallo" sandwich! Brother-in-law ordered the catfish, which was 1 Huge fillet, crispy, not to salty! DELICIOUS!! Service from Darleen was exceptional!
We always stop at Uncle Roosters on our way to Branson. We call in chicken dinners so is fresh and hot when we get there. It is the best food and the staff, including owner Bobbie, are over the top friendly. You must stop in!!
