My family and I met with Dr. Melisko for a second opinion on my breast cancer diagnosis. She was very friendly and thorough with her explanations. So happy she left UCSF and San Francisco, After being involved with her care of our father and seeing some strange decisions she made concerning testing and other specialized care that she kept insisting our parent discussed with her during private meetings in her clinic when we were not present. I feel Dr. Appelle gives me the time to speak and ask questions about my care. She makes recommendations but leaves final say to me. I think she's a great doctor and would recommend to anyone.
