"Homestyle" Italian fare comes in "big portions" courtesy of "experienced" servers at these kitchens from Phil Stefani (Tavern on Rush); fans say the "relaxed" trattoria settings are as suitable for a "special occasion" as for "more frequent dining", considering the "fair" prices.
With a reservations for two at 7pm we waited much to long almost one hour, as they seated all the groups of 4 or more first. They clearly overbooked at that restaurant. We were ready to walk out as we complained and got seated.
Horrible service from the host and hostess. our reservation was for 7pm, we arrived at 6:45 and we waited for an hour to be seated. WITH A RESERVATION. The host and hostess were rude and told every upset guest that they were next to be seated when they weren't. There were very upset guests with reservations and they did nothing for us or to apologize for overbooking. Luckily our waitress was...

Julie is just not getting it done. Needs to be more attentive. How many times should you have to ask for a soft drink to be refilled?
My wife and I were celebrating valentines day and our 47th anniversary. We loved the atmosphere and all the employees we came in contact with. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. I left with the impression that I had just had an excellent Italian dinner at an original Italian establishment. Look forward to visiting the bar and listening to the music.
