Another promising but sad story. When this place opened, they baked fresh bread sticks and offered a decent menu at a decent price. The food was well prepared and then boom -the next thing you know, typical bread offered with lame piano music. They are consistently out of the reasonably priced bottles of wine as well. The Southside works caters to the suburban crowd so it was inevitable.

I would give Tusca a 1.5 on food if you could. Some dishes are very good, some are awful. The cost is high as the tapas are not large, so you need several. For what it is - a tapas place that is trendy with lots of young people (I'm not) - it is enjoyable. And they are one of few places in Pittsburgh with nice outdoor seating .
