Tunex AF does NOT roll the diagnostic cost into the repair like most shops. They will add it to your bill as a separate charge. Beware, and go elsewhere to save. I called the dealer and a shop we trust in Orem, and both said they would only charge their diagnostic fee if someone elected not to get the repair with them.Tunex also recommends services not necessary, and over-charge. We have taken our vehicles to this Tunex, which is apparently under new management in the last few years. I recently took my Tundra to Big O tire in Lehi to have my shocks and brakes checked and was told they were fine but that my passenger side control arm and ball joint needed replacing for a small fee of $600. Called Tunex in AF and was quoted a price of $406 for the SAME parts and labor. ...
