First of all, the owner is a liar. After filing a complaint with Tulsa BBB he responded to them accusing me of threatening employees and accusing them of stealing, neither of which are true. Trailered my boat from Lake Hudson in to Tulsa where it had been purchased thinking they could fix it. Had not been running over 2k rpm for second season and finally failed to start. After replacing switch box and some minor repairs for $670 launched boat and it still would not rev more than 2k. Also noticed my motor support missing and when asking mechanic about it he neither offered to replace it or look for it. Trailered back to Tulsa and told mech. it needed to be under load in water to get proper tach reading. He said he could not do but suspected carbs and would rebuild them. After another $380 for carb repair I decided to check at house before launching. No water coming out of exit hole. Removed gearbox and found impeller completely destroyed. Upon calling Troy and asking if it had been run w/o water he got indignant and said it would never have happened and it was working fine before leaving them. Do not know how an impeller can fall completely apart between Tulsa and the lake. Bought a new one and replaced it myself. launched boat and guess what? Still will not ramp up over 2k rpm. Called TBS and was told they had worked all they were going to and to take it elsewhere for repairs. After filing BBS claim Troy lied about several things and referred to my boat as a piece of cr@p several times which I felt was very unprofessional, especially for an owner. I would not recommend these liars to anyone for repairs.
TBS (Tulsa Boat Sales) put a water pump impeller in my boat motor and it didn t work. I brought the boat in for prevenative maintance, the pump worked fine. When I put it in the water (100 miles from here) the water pump would not work. I was at Lake Eufaula so I took it to the Honda dealer at the lake (#1 Honda dealer in Oklahoma). They replaced the water pump impeller and we enjoyed the weekend. I went back to Tulsa Boat Sales (Tuesday) and the owner said he would not refund a dime. My boat worked, I took it to Tulsa Boat Sales and then it didn t work. Took it to a local dealer at the lake and he put another impeller in and it ran fine. Bottom line.....theyTBS not only didn t fix my motor they made so I couldn t drive it at all then said it s your problem. I paid to have the pump put in twice. I spent hours being towed at the lake, hours getting their mistake fixed, spent hours getting it back in the water, and paid full price to have TBS work corrected. TBS owner said I took it to a shade tree dealer, I took it to 150 Marine in Checotah (Lake Eufaula) the #1 Honda dealer in Oklahoma. TBS owner said I could have started the motor out of water and ruined the pump, I have owned a lot of boats over the last 42 years and you never-ever start one out of water without ear-muffs (runs water to the engine with a hose)......TBS owner said I could be lying and got a fake receipt from 150 marine. I asked for 1/2 back, TBS made a large profit because they ruined one vacation day and cost me a lot of money to have the TBS work re-done. by the way, he charged me approx $250---call around and see what everyone else charges. They are $50 to $100 cheaper..........I showed his mechanic, parts man and a salesman the impeller, it was not damaged (as if started out of water) the impeller looked new, the damage was to the impeller key, the owner never looked at the impeller or impeller key...........I went to TBS because I looked up "Honda Marine dealers", and he is listed. I didn t know he was droped as a dealer. This is a 30+ year old family business. I have traded there before (not with this young man), and the business was built long before he took over. I hope he grows up and starts running it like it was before. Anyone else would have given me back a refund, for making my boat inoperative. I have never seen a business owner so disrespectful to employees and customers. The 5 star ratings on this page sound like advertisements, are you sure TBS or relation didn't write them.......

hauled my boat to Tulsa from Lake Hudson in April to TBS. Told them it was not powering up on the water for past year and finally quit starting at all. They put in a new switch box for $670 and tell me it was only running on three cyls as reason for no power. Spend some time rebuilding benches on boat and finally get it back in water at end of June in anticipation of visitors coming July 4. Starts fine, will not idle under load in water, nor will it achieve over 2K rpm. Pulled the cowling off and looked it over inspecting choke assy to ensure it working properly. Trip back to Tulsa...
