I went to Tuffy's drive thru window on Saturday Sept. 3rd to purchase rolls to take home....We waited almost 15 minutes....no one would take my order.....they saw us at the window but never opened the window to take my order.....We drove to the front and I went in to order 2 dozen rolls.....I told the man that I had been waiting for someone to take my order at the drive thru but they would not...

The new menu which debuted on Aug. 3, 2010, has some delicious new items, like the crab cakes, grilled mahi-mahi and stuffed shrimp. The old favorites are still there, like the huge rolls made famous when Texas Monthly raved about them as well as the cakes and mile-high meringue pies. I had the pleasant surprise today when I stopped by Tuffy's for the first time in years. Apparently, they have changed hands and a menu menu went into effect August 1, 2010. I was disappointed to see that they didn't have fried oysters anymore, but I opted for the crabcakes. Holy crap, those things were dynamite!!!!
