I was so upset when my family & i looked for the tucchetti restaurant we ate at once before, in phoenix arizona. It was closed down. I really,really,really wish for it to re-open again. We loved that place. Why did they close it down? it wasn't because of the food or business. It was packed & there was a long endless line outside, people waiting patiently to get in. My fiancé' and I loved to visit tucchettis on our date nights. The food was always great and the service top notch. They were getting more children friendly over the last wile. When my husband and I were dating we also used to frequently go to Tucchett's in the Fox Valley area in Illinois. Tucchetti's used to be in Fox Valley, near Chicago, IL. My family ate there many times. It consistantly was wonderful. Food was very authentic Italian. I believe with a 'Napels' flavor. They had dishes that I have never seen served in another Italian establishment (other than my own mother's home). The waiters were Italian. They were very nice to children. It wasn't noisy like many resturants....
