Cashed my checks closed the doors

I had payed for a tanning package over a year ago and was very happy with the salon.

In June I went back to purchase another package....spaced the payments out over three months....so i've just finished paying,,,and the doors are closed....no notice, no refunds.
I'm sure they knew in June that they were going to have to shut down, but they took my money.

Anyone else have a similar situation with them?
Pls let me know, I'm planning on Small Claims.\r

I tried out Tropical Rayz after having a horrible manicure at another local nail place, due to what I believe was largely a language barrier. I drove by Tropical Rayz and saw the pedicure chairs through the window: the salon looked open and clean so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did! I have gotten great manicures, pedicures, waxes, and artificial nails. I received a pink and white french manicure from Cindy and it was BEAUTIFUL. Tropical Rayz Llc is located at 13305 Nw Cornell Rd Ste D in Portland and has been in the business of Tanning Salon since 2007.
