They advertise a sports bar-NOT. Loud "club" music untl 2:00 a.m. for the 3 people hanging at the "sports bar". If you have kids or have to get up early not a good place to stay.

Got Bitten by Bed Bugs!!

The staff at Tropic Cay were very helpful. However, the rooms are very poorly maintained, the kitchenettes with grime. To my horror I discovered I had been bitten by bed bugs in room 204. Then I see it on the news! Be prepared and check your room thoroughly.

This was the most horrible place ever. This is the kind of place nightmares are made of. Broken windows, doors, dilapidated furniture. The pool was pond scum. Pimps running prostitutes out of the pool area. Totally disgusting.

A Fun Dump

This place was a dump. The bathrooms were old and dirty. There were stains on the wall and blankets. The whole bottom floor flooded with nasty water one day. The staff was pretty much didn’t care what was going on. It was perfect for our college spring break though. The bar and pool setting is sweet for hangin out and boozin. So if your gonna be rowdy, stay here because they wont notice how...
