Compared to other knitting shops in Seattle, Tricoter has the worst service I have seen. There were at least five staff members there when I went in but I still waited over 10 minutes at the register for someone to check me out. The questions I had were answered rudely and as quickly as possible.

Pros

+ Parking

Cons

- Rude service, yarn fell apart when using

Frigid, even in the heat of August.

I don't believe I've ever had someone make me feel like the ladies at this shop did. I went to this place with my mother, who dresses somewhat similarly to them, and they still followed me like I was stuffing my pockets with every ball of yarn I could reach. They made it very clear by their attitude and actions that they thought I would steal something, and that my kind was not wanted there.

Well, not only have they lost my business, but the business of the 25 plus knitters I know and meet each day!

The repetitive motion of manipulating beautiful fibers on our needles guides the rhythm of our daily lives and provides a soothing, reassuring retreat in the most challenging of times. The pleasure of the process is often greater even than the satisfaction of the completed project. We hope that a visit...
