I've been going to Elana since she started working there, and I always feel good afterwards. The shop is punky and cute and convenient if you have to take public trans. or if you live in the Haight.
Given how expensive hair styling has become, the stylists of Transformer provide a good value.

it seems that any reviewed salon here is like
$50 for a haircut, which is kind weak. at Transformer it is still $35 and the haircut isn't guaranteed perfect but at least you have money left over for dinner afterward.
