Open since December 20, 2011, we are a small winery dedicated to producing quality wines served in a fun atmosphere. We make a variety of wines, from sweet to dry; red, white and blush. We invite you to stop by, try our wines, and relax in our beautifully restored depot.

very nice winery

This is a nice winery, located in an old (remodeled) winery in downtown Algona. The décor reflects the railroad history of the location, as do some of the names of the wines. The wine tasting was fun - and the hostess was very knowledgeable about the wines. Well worth the stop.

We had a fun time at Train Wreck Winery. They offer a flight of four wines to taste, so you can know what bottle is best suited for you. Caboose was our favorite, and its held to that title at home, too. Kate is a sweet red wine that goes well with food. The bar-keep told us about each wine,...
