Lifetime Airwave/Wireless Programming/Updates Available Trackside is useless when Track Scan decides to abandon their customers at a track/race. If Track Scan will abandon the Indianapolis 500 fan base, they will abandon anyone.
RE got the exclusive inside the fence contract. That did not stop others, like Uniden Scanners from having a trailer outside the fence.
Does anyone want to buy my Track...

I purchased "The Pocket Edge II.IV" last year at Indy, the third radio I've bought from TS, well, SURPRISE, they aren't in Indy THIS year!
I've found out that their competition, R/E, will happily program my TS scanner for $10!
That isn't a lot of money, but the PRINCIPLE makes it so!
I almost bought the video scanner last year, glad I didn't...I'm BEYOND pissed off as I sent a message to TS...

News reports on the web are that Indycar and NASCAR have made deals that exclude Track Scan from their tracks. Saw one report that said NASCAR made a deal with the new exclusive carrier to update track scan but Indycar did not. I have not been able to find much comment on this to verify either way. I know they are not at Indy. So, my new wifi programming is now a retro, manual programmer. Glad...

Usually I find the yellow Track-Scan trailer at the Indpls. Motor Speedway very quickly - not this May... Is it true you won't be here for Indycar/Indy Lights? One of the selling points was over-the-air programming for my 440 II/headphone package. I regret not purchasing from REI (who is front and center at IMS).

I look forward to sharing my Track-Scan experience with fans when NASCAR comes to...
