This is a wonderful restaurant. They were the first up-scale establishment that I know of in Clearly Square. My husband and I went there for Valentine's Day (after a debacle at the only other "nice" restaurant in the Square.

I hardly want to mention how nice this place is because I don't want it to be too crowded. However, it is a nice place and you should visit.

The Townsend's mussels in red ale broth are well worth the trip. Their beer selection is excellent and changing. A seasonal menu means that things always taste fresh and delicious. Burgers to seafood, salad to dessert, you can't go wrong.

Townsend's is the culmination of a long chrished dream of michael and rosaleen tallon to open a comfortabl, upscale restaurant longue in their home village of Hyde Park. It is located at 81 Farimount Avenue, Logan Square on the Milton line. Logan square and Fairmount Ave have a long traditional of theater and night life. Boasting the hopefully soon to reopen Everett Theatre.
