Help us make it rightTown Computer should be out of business. They picked up my computer to fix the cd drive. They returned it without reconnecting it. When I reconnected it, I discovered that not only was my cd drive not working, but I could no longer get an internet connection. I called them to let them know, and they actually said that they needed my aol password to fix the problem. I said that was ridiculous and he yelled at me, first to say that I was lying, then to say that I never had an internet connection in the first place. Needless to say I took my computer somewhere else. When the other company's technician opened my computer, it was obvious what the problem was: someone had disconnected the modem, and didn't reconnect it. I called Town Computer back to let them know that I knew what was going and that I was going to report them to the BBB, he hung up on me. Then I received an email from him calling me a "stupid girl". I wish I could give them zero stars!

This place is a joke. I gave them my computer recently to fix, they're super friendly on the telephone, and unbelievably difficult to deal with once they've obtained your computer. Essentially, the lure you in with the $60-80 diagnostic fee. Then, since they already have your computer you feel crippled when they slam a $600 bill.
