The Setting
Located near the confluence of the Tomoka and Halifax Rivers, just west of the Atlantic Ocean, there are camping and boating facilities where early Native Americans once lived...
Always bring your bug repellent, and always make certain your pet has a flea and tick collar. We definitely needed the Deet this weekend, as the mosquito's and chiggers were out in full force! We camp in a 32 foot travel trailer, with 2 slides, along with 2 small dogs. While camping, our passions are hiking, biking, photography, and relaxing....
Great park to view wildlife. Rented a canoe and saw plenty of birdlife: egrets. osprey, cranes, and the local alligator. Got a chance to see a dolphin playing with a fish he caught. We missed the huge manatee that swam thru. We visited this park three different times in one week. Best time to go is about 4:30 - 7PM...
this,is a beautiful natural historical state park--fishing is great, bring chairs because the banks are pretty overgrown. Picnicking is plentiful and they even have a small store on site. Great for birdwatching, kayaking and canoeing. It's one mile in and out on a very soft, dirt road-took our bikes, then put them in the truck. Nice, but FLORIDA has more...

There is a boat ramp, good fishing in the Tomoka River, canoe rentals at...
From your approach to this facility to your parking of your rv is a very unique area to camp close to all that is Daytona and Ormond Beach. Everything you need is at your campsite and area is maintained very well. Campground is very much wooded and rustic. I would rate this best of the best, not luxury but everything...

Nestled near the Tomoka River, this picturesque parkland has a playground, picnic pavilion, nature trail, boat ramp, restrooms, campsites and informative exhibits about the Timucuan Indians who once lived here. The park also offers various activities such as kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking and wildlife...
Tomoka State Park is located on the site of what was once a camp site of an early Native American tribe. History is abundant at this park, located three miles north of Ormond Beach, FL.
The Fred and Dana Marsh Museum and a visitor's center are located at this scenic park that offers activities such as camping, canoeing, fishing, bird watching, walking on nature trails, and picnic areas.
Try spotting the manatees in the Tomoka River.
