In an act of desperation for food, I stopped by this venue located next to the Light Rail stop. This place is in between and Irish/Scottish Pub and a Hooters. Clearly Hooters has all of the talent so you would think that if they cannot keep up with the talent the would make it up with the food. Not so....
I was a little shocked when I arrived to find the place so dead. There were a few tables taken and a few guys at the bar and that was it. I asked for a recommendation for a meal. I got the Gaelic Chicken. It really shocked me how good it was. Would go back just for that!
There were numerous beers on tap and a good variety of mixers available as well. I've had better food, but it was not bad by any stretch of the imagination. Our server was very attentive. The mix of Irish pub and sports bar was unique, as was the uniform of the wait staff.
A lot of different beers and delicious food. Also the amount of screens to watch sports is amazing. But after we paid the service ended...
This bar is a Rutgers reunion on game night. Fun. Loud. Crowded. Decent food and drinks. Just don't expect much for service when it's that crowded.
