We went to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We were given a table away from the crowd and had a wonderful time.
We used to eat at Tidewater often, but a few years ago, I ordered Parmesan encrusted sole and was served a thick white fish. I questioned our server and was told the new chef filleted the fish differently. I was sure that was wrong and later confirmed what I knew with the local fish shop that filet of sole is always a thin fish. We stopped going to Tidewater because of this incident, however...
Our server, Mr. Swaine was exceptional!! He met our every need and was very personable and knowledeable of the menu. The food was very good as well.
You can't beat the bread and the Greek salad bowl. Apps were good and desserts were amazing but the rest of our meal was ok. No one really raved. We truly miss the mussel dish that used to keep us coming back for more, more, more.
