Another great option if you are staying in Rutland/Mendon area and do not want to drive to Killington Rd. Located in downtown Rutland this restaurant offers a great selection of Italian dishes and wood fired pizza. We shared a thin crust pepperoni pie and a Sausage and gnocchi plate. Both were fabulous! After a long day of skiing we stopped in for some salad, pizza & dessert. It was well worth the trip! The thin crust pizza was delicious! We had plain and mushroom and not a slice was left over... Never disappoints. Chef Keith had a superb cioppino on the menu last Saturday.Plenty of seafood and just the right seasoning. It was perfect.

Staff and chef were very accommodating letting several members of our party add and subtract elements from dishes; and one vegan friend pretty much ordered from scratch and was really pleased with their pasta creation.

I love this restaurant. Wonderful fresh Italian food. Romantic atmosphere. I have an emotional connection to the place. I have never really had a bad experience here.
