Though it might look the part, this isn't a greasy spoon: the luncheonette dishes up great fried chicken, homemade biscuits, and pie, plus grits, eggs, country ham, and other breakfast favorites. Join the regulars at the counter, or sit in one of the booths or café tables in the 1920s storefront building.

This is the kind of cafe where Charles Kuralt might have come to talk with the locals. With only five tables, a few booths, and a handful of counter stools, it's real Americana. Great place but PLEASE remodel. Great food but DEFINITELY needs a remodel. Nostalgia is one thing but unlevel floors, a slanted soda machine, worn out paint and sagging lumber moldings BEGS for a remodel. Filthy celiling fan blades that can sling dust into your food at any moment. I love ypu guys but you should be more aware of your surroundings and environment.
