Dr. Purgason's office is always efficient and thorough. Whenever I call for a sick appointment I am often seen within hours. I am seen at my appointment time or sooner if I arrive early. He tries his best to prescribe known medicines and tries to make them affordable. When I have lab work, I am called with the results the next morning.

I found myself without health insurance after moving to Arlington to start a new job and getting snarled in ObamaCare. Found this doctor to have very quiet, attentive demeanor, listening well to get complete picture. Very respectful. Don't live in Arlington right now and wish I had a Doctor like this where I am & if I return in near future, I sure hope he is still practicing & will see me as a patient again.

The office staff is exceptionally rude. There is a sense of hostility in the waiting room with admonitions to not "steal" magazines. There is a strident reminder to have all medications on an 8x11 paper or the Dr will not see you. It is unlike any other medical experience I have had. Medical records that need to be forwarded are not released until a fee is mailed in.

Dr. Purgason is a great Doctor. Anytime, I've ever had a problem he has worked quickly to resolve it or get me to a Specialist. The office staff is very friendly as well.
