Thelma's Barbeque

Thelma's a great cook, no doubt about it. Everything I've had there is delicious, from the cheeseburger to barbeque to fried catfish. The wait is a killer -- sometimes more than 2 hours. Don't like to wait? Don't try Thelma's. Complaining to Thelma or the staff is an exercise in futility. The utter lack of any concept of customer service have made me stay away. You can get food as good as this...

Everyone raves about the food so I tried it. Never went back. Brisket was tough, sauce was watery and the wait is too long. Decor is something to be desired, looks like a shack that is ready to fall. Service was okay, but watch out, they handle your food and money without gloves or washing their hands! Yuck
