The Wine Shoppe is definitely one of southern Maryland's destinations for craft beer. That said, it's not a Mecca for craft beer like I consider Dawson's in Severna Park. The reviews that are already posted paint a good picture of the selection. I agree with those that point you to Rosewick Wine and Spirits in La Plata. The selection is roughly the same but a bit better and cheaper at Rosewick...

The Wine Shoppe has gone from the 'go to' place in Waldorf, to the secondary place in Southern Maryland in the last couple years. Rosewick's seems to have about the same selection, and much better prices. I've found that the Wine Shoppe is really expensive compared to other places around DC. I've always found the service pretty good, but they'll try to push 'specialty' beers off on you, even if...

Somewhat easy to find this store in the large strip mall. Found this place after stopping at the pro shop in the skating rink behind the complex - nice find. (301 N to 228 E, left at Western PKWY, turn left into shopping mall area place past Famous Dave's)
