The Westin Memphis Beale Street hotel—opened in 2009 within stumbling distance of Beale Street and overlooking the Gibson Guitar Factory—caters to luxury travelers without expecting them to be too buttoned up. The 203 rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, flat-screen TVs, white-on-white pillow-top beds, and bathrooms with dual-head massage showers (all the better after a long night at the...

Downtown's newest full-service luxury hotel is a stunner: The city's first Westin has a plum perch at the foot of famed Beale Street. Exquisitely appointed two-room corner suites overlook the NBA Grizzlies' FedExForum and the Gibson Guitar plant. Hotel guests can call down to the front desk to have a classic 1956 Les Paul Goldtop VOS or one of several other Gibson guitars delivered to their...

I enjoy Westin properties for their consistency in great service and amenities. After a long drive it was like melting into the bed. Room service arrived promptly and hot. Front desk staff at arrival and departure were welcoming and friendly. Valet offered suggestions for Beale Street spots. This location is great for wandering Beale Street and nearby areas as well...

Great location, but not many perks for SPG members

The hotel is nice and my room was quiet and clean. We were in a great location for getting to Beale Street and great blues clubs, restaurants and tourist stuff. The free shuttle for Sun Studio picks up on the corner right out the front door. There is no complimentary breakfast offered and no concierge level for members.

The Westin is a bit pricy - but you definitely get your money's worth. The beds are great and being able to walk to Beale street is an added bonus. Had an issue with coffee in room - front desk had us go around corned to Starbucks for a free coffee. Will definitely visit again

Received a warm welcome from the staff which was just what I needed after a 12 hour drive. The room was clean and well appointed as one would expect of the Westin. I also forgot a few items and the staff help me track everything down with a smile. Once again the Westin has proven to be a brand I...

Convenient to Beale, Service Not Good

Average Rating

This relatively new hotel is close to Beale (about 1 block away), and has nice sized rooms, but once you get outside the room it becomes a bit annoying. Parking, while directly connected to the hotel, requires that you either walk outside or take stairs to get to the hotel - neither option good on a cold rainy night when...
