We came across this Store quite by accident - we had gone upstairs in the Fisherman's Wharf shopping area, and were headed for the "Cup & Cake Cafe" (they offer "Illy" Coffee), and since we're both "Green Tea" drinkers (as well as loving Coffee), we thought we'd at least have a look.
We can't comment on the Spices bit, but...

I visited the shop when I was on vacation and fell in love. To find The Spice & Tea Exchange online is so wonderful! Fantastic blends and basic culinary needs all at a good price with reasonable shipping.

I got here on a weekend with a request to blend some peppercorns for my pepper mill. Thank goodness the blendmaster works on weekends and was able to make a custom blend just for me. I was thrilled because the franchises in Key West and New Orleans were unable to do that for me.

The proprietors are some of the most friendly people I've ever met and always have time to shoot the breeze with customers.
