The Regal Beagle takes the concept of a neighborhood restaurant to a new level in Brookline, an area known primarily for funky sushi joints and taquerias. It draws a cross-section of diners --- young twosomes on dates, moms with strollers, older couples grabbing a quiet bite. From the wide-ranging menu, we recommend the rich appetizer of pork belly with honeyed fig, duck confit served atop a...

Sort of like a "speakeasy", this "fashion-forward" Brookline bistro offers "artistic and tasty" "twists" on New American comfort-food "standards" in a "cute", "small, dark" setting; it's "always so crowded", including the bar where "spirited" staffers pour "innovative" cocktails.
If you're expecting a bunch of ironic Jack Trippers to be goofing off in a kitschy pick up scene here you're off the mark. This cozy neighborhood bistro winks at its namesake bar from Three's Company, but its menu is no joke. Lamb chops grilled with mint, almond and a goat cheese crust are served with pomegranate syrup and fingerling potatoes. Cocktails like the Old Landlord and the Ladies Man...
Good food, very reliable. Bacon-wrapped dates are a must
I live in the neighborhood and am happy to have this restaurant around as it is the only one of its kind in Coolidge Corner and is a lively, well-priced choice. The menu has changed since the last time I was there. I stuck with a salad and a side as did my friend and we were very pleased. She had a vegetarian plate and I had a salad with brie and strawberries. Waiter was very pleasant. I will...
My eggplant was lacking the eggplant. Very little in my casserole. Sauce delicious nice cheese but almost no eggplant
Excellent service as always. Good food! Regal Beagle is one of my favorite go-to places in Brookline.
We have NEVER had a bad meal here, and eat here at least a few times a year. Small but friendly bar with great bartenders and excellent cocktails, including interesting specials. Overall it's a wonderful place - warm, inviting, sophisticated but not at all stuffy. Food, which was already great, has gotten even better with the recent change in chef this past year. The menu changes seasonally,...
Though it's named after the much-loved local pub from Three's Company, the Regal Beagle certainly doesn't feel like a throw-back to the 70s or 80s. The dapper little restaurant, housed right on Harvard Street in Coolidge Corner, has a chic décor, a modern menu of seasonal, creative comfort food and a cheeky list of inspired cocktails.
Since 2009 the company has been providing Manufacturing - Barbecues, Grills, And Braziers (outdoor Cooking).
The Regal Beagle is a small but popular bar in the Coolidge Corner area of Brookline. The decor is chic and modern with gleaming lanterns and bright red wallpaper which adds character to the place. Come and relax in a casual ambiance sipping a perfectly blended cocktail or grab a meal to satisfy your hunger. Choose from their lamb chops grilled with mint or fingerling potatoes along with...
The words “A Neighborhood Joint’’ appear on the restaurant’s sign right beneath its name. The neighborhood has everything it needs in the way of sushi, burritos, Thai food, falafel, and Indian restaurants. But it needed a joint. Or at least a joint like this, with wallet-friendly American bistro food for brunch, lunch, and dinner, serving late; rotating specials to keep regulars from getting...

When to Go: The restaurant kitchen closes at 11pm each night.
Fun Fact: The owners (who also operate Fenway hotspot Church) named the Regal Beagle after the bar in the TV sitcom "Three's Company." They wanted to evoke the feeling of the TV bar where everyone was welcome and cheekily nod at that most famous Boston bar of all: Cheers.
Where to Sit: Dropping in for a bite, beer, cocktail or one of the reasonably priced wines by the glass? Grab a precious seat at the tiny bar in the rear. Want to people-watch? Perch at one of the two high tables in the windows.
