Great hotel! good value for money

Staff was Amazing! We came in the morning after long ride , very tired. We knew that check-in is only at noon, but SUDHIR and MARNIE were so thoughtful and found available room for us. Their welcome was warm and honest, and during all the stay we felt welcomed.

Opal is a Gem

Great hotel good location with some of the most friendly helpful staff I have encountered. Breakfast is just what you need to start the day it offers yoghurt, fruit, bakery, eggs, cereal and beverages. Breakfast is included in the room rate . Storage of luggage is available as well. Rooms are clean and beds very comfortable.
Will stay here again?

A good compromise

The hotel is located at short distance of the city center, and many places can be reached by walking. Being at the crossing of Geary/O'Farell and Van Ness, it offers a good access to public buses, a cheap option to visit the City using the Muni Passport. Funny smells and extra charges

The exceptional price difference between the booking rate and final charge was a bit of a shock. %16 taxes should be included in the booking and the $46 parking charge was not mentioned when I was given the pass.
The room had a VERY strong odor, air freshener or cleaner used to excess. Could not open the windows.
