Monkey Bridge caters more to the high end Vietnamese food crowd. It's the best Vietnamese food in Ballard, but not the best in town. I would recommend South Seattle or the ID for Vietnamese food on a budget. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and very clean.

Food here was a little higher priced than other vietnamese restaurants. The pho broth was very sweet which I was did not enjoy. The vermicelli noodles were thicker and soggier than what I am used to. My favorite was the congee that comes with a banh mi or rice dish. Street parking

My friend and I went for dinner at Monkey Bridge in early June. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce as an appetizer. This was the best part of the meal by far. My go to restaurant in Ballard. It has been almost a year since my first review and in that year Monkey Bridge has turned into my go to restaurant. I mostly get their pho which is amazing but I have branched out to some of the other items on their menu and everything I have tried is pretty good.
