I walked by The Melt and there was a line out the door. Thought I would try it. The service was great! I had a burger with fries the food was good! To me the serving was enough. The only problem is seating is very limited inside. Seating is very tight! There is also outside seating. Dogs were welcome only...

What a treat! For lunch or a light dinner this restaurant's grilled cheese sandwiches knock one out of the park. The menu board lists the different types of grilled cheese sandwiches offered. Sandwiches are fine if you want grilled cheese...salt content might be a bit high. Given all the other healthy choices it is hard to see this sort of niche restaurant surviving on the Avenue but it delivers what it promises.

My son enjoyed this and liked the quality, speed, and value (maybe a tad lower but ok I guess I can splurge on grilled cheese) but then again, how expensive can two pieces of bread and cheese be?

Hands down one the best grilled cheese sandwiches I've enjoyed outside of my kitchen! I love the decor and having everything be recyclable/compostable is a nice touch.
