Good:
1) The food is truly South-Indian and not Americanized
2) The price is reasonable
3) The two guys who work there are down to earth simple, honest and innocent
What needs to change:
1) Definitely the ambience needs a major renovation, this place has no restaurant-y mood whatsoever.

I visited the United States recently with my wife, and we were also in Dallas. My host took us to this place for a vegetarian south indian meal. We found the food great and the staff very friendly.
