I enrolled my daughter in The Little Gym at the young age of 6 months. Through the well-coordinated, age-appropriate classes and positive encouragement from the energetic instructors my daughter has developed tremendous confidence and esteem that she will carry with her for the rest of her life. The Little Gym is also a safe haven for her to be the carefree and energetic little 3 year old that she is. I am so pleased with The Little Gym that I have enrolled her younger brother there this Fall. I was not sure how long/short you wanted it to be....I could go on and on about our wonderful experiences at The Little Gym :-)
My kids and I have been going to the Little Gym in Olney for a few years now. Both of them have absolutely LOVED it. My daughter has been in the Parent-child classes and the dance classes. She became noticeably more social and comfortable around groups of children. I saw the biggest change in my son though. We started going when he was a year and a half. At the time, he was VERY clingy - he never wanted me to put him down. I was hoping he would be different at the Little Gym. We started the Parent-Child classes and in the beginning he clung to me. When he did finally try to play on some of the equipment, he wanted to hold my hand and said "Help me" all the time. But, after a few classes, he was asking about "Yitto Gym" constantly and would run wild and crazy around the gym by himself. They are very attentive to the children's and parents' needs and make sure the kids have fun. I definitely recommend it for kids parties, child fitness classes, dance or karate classes or camp fun!
