This funky venue takes you back to when radio was king and the theater was the cultural center of town.

In Short

Decent view anywhere you stood. Sound was great. Drink prices weren't too bad. They let you have reentry if you want to go smoke outside.

Business description (5) view all

The Lincoln Theatre is a modest, mid-sized concert venue in downtown Raleigh known for its lineup of live music ranging from national touring bands, local talent, and cover bands. The venue exudes an old school-vibe, and puts a premium on acoustics, sound and stage equipment, and beer over luxuries. Visitors can watch music standing up in front of the stage, or from balcony seating.

Lincoln Theatre the can be found at E Cabarrus St 126. The following is offered: Night Clubs. The entry is present with us since Sep 9, 2010 and was last updated on Nov 14, 2013. In Raleigh there are 18 other Night Clubs. An overview can be found here.

Tips about this business (2)

Where to Sit

Due to the tiered, open layout of the room, there's really no bad spot during a show at the Lincoln; with a capacity of 550, the party is capable of growing to mythic proportions. The acoustics are pretty solid, and the vibe is definitely laid-back.

Parking

The small, paved parking lot on the corner of Wilmington and Cabarrus is an "honor pay" parking lot: Pay for a parking pass and put it on your dash--or your car will be towed.
