While its name says “on the alley,” this location of The Grill chain is inside Fairmont San Jose. The look, like the food, is retro but stylish. Food was terrific but the portions are way too large so ordering is difficult. Quality was excellent which is why I went. It was a business meeting so quiet was important and we were placed in a quiet spot which worked out well.
