The Gerald is a Ballard staple. It's a pretty small venue, but the atmosphere is just pure Seattle. Go on a weeknight when the place isn't as crazy for a cocktail or glass of vino.

Went here for happy hour with some friends and we enjoyed our visit. Well made craft cocktails and a decently priced happy hour food menu. They did forget one of our party's order which is why they got only a 3. Didn't eat anything from the dinner menu but it sounded good.

Fabulous cocktails and delicious bites! I'd describe this place as a gastropub because of the selection of food/drink. It's not the biggest place in Ballard, but it has a classy feel to it.

“The Gerald” could be a really good dog’s name, or an art museum, or some breathy guy from your English literature class, but it’s not any of those. It’s a hip restaurant with killer hand-crafted cocktails on historic Ballard Avenue in Seattle. After hitting up the weekly Sunday Farmer’s Market, I meandered through the crowds to this modern bar for a much needed bloody mary.
