What a beautiful, clean, elegant, fun, solid Austin 'citizen'. Great bar and entertainment - a lot going on with downstairs tea to live entertainment in the handsomely carved and stained glass bar. We ate dinner at the Grill and were overwhelmed with the quality (and the pricetag) as well as having an outstanding breakfast downstairs........... and David at the front desk made sure we had our...

We had a great anniversary weekend. The staff was absolutely wonderful (especially Courtney), the room just right, and The Grill was a great restaurant for a celebratory supper.

The Driskill is in a great location for exploring Austin. The staff is great; rooms are nicely appointed and clean. Tea/coffee in the morning and hot cider in the evening in the lobby is a nice touch. Elevator is very, very slow. Hotel can get very noisy ... it is a popular spot for weddings and parties. Although bedroom was quiet, I could hear conversations through the ducts in the bathroom....
