Under new Ownership

Since the new owners have taken over this place has improved 100%. Its now known as the Dirty Rooster. (Edited January 09, 2011)

Great for Lunch or if you're looking to get crazy. Citysearch

We have been visiting the Dirty Rooster for a couple of years now (since it was Bubba Moose), and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon!

The food has done nothing but get better, and most of the same staff...

When I got divorced I ran into some great people at this bar. They let me in as a friend and the staff was like family after awhile. Saturday nights were just awesome with the bands! Whenever I walked in they had my miller lite and rum & coke waiting for me. Moved back to Austin but will always have the Moose in my blood...........memories man memories.

This place recently changed its name from Bubba Moose to The Dirty Rooster. I am not sure this name is better but they advertise that this is a Beer and Burger place, so I was ready to try their burgers. The first thing I noticed when I got inside was the smell of last nights cigarette smoke. It was definitely more a bar than a restaurant and a few patrons were already having their first drink...

These guys are now the Dirty Rooster ( - new owners menu etc but a lot (if not all?) the same staff. I really like the burgers and sandwiches and they've always got live bands playing on the weekends (don't think there's ever any cover). One of my favorite places for lunch blue moon and live music.

One of my favorite places up in Allen. I used to work right there and we would go in frequently for a kick ass burger and (don't tell the boss) a beer or two. That was actually when it was still Bubba…
